Practice Area: Guardianship and Conservatorship, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 1 Years, A law firm in Ohio City is seeking an Entry-level Guardianship Attorney with the following qualifications: Job Overview:The Entry-level Guardianship Attorney will assist the Senior Attorney with reviewing petitions and providing legal representation to clients in guardianship matters. The role requires an active Bar membership, strong communication and negotiation skills, exceptional research and analytical abilities, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, compassion and understanding when dealing with vulnerable individuals and their families, strong attention to detail and organizational skills, and a demonstrated commitment to ethical and professional conduct. Duties:Assist the Senior Attorney with reviewing guardianship petitions.Provide legal representation to clients in guardianship matters.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing parties, and the court.Conduct legal research and analysis.Draft legal documents, including petitions, motions, and orders.Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation, as needed.Attend court hearings and other legal proceedings.Maintain accurate and organized case files. Requirements:Active Bar membership in Ohio.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Exceptional research and analytical abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Compassion and understanding when dealing with vulnerable individuals and their families.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Demonstrated commitment to ethical and professional conduct. Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to the Ohio State Bar. Skills:Strong communication and negotiation skills.Exceptional research and analytical abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Compassion and understanding.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ethical and professional conduct.
