A company is looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer II, Perception for a US Remote position. Key Responsibilities: Explore, prototype, validate, and iterate new algorithms from a research perspective Drive efforts to optimize, supervise, and refine on-road performance for models on the path to production Support hardware organization with sensitivity studies for hardware selection and architecture investigations Required Qualifications: Solid understanding of computer vision fundamentals and ML model development Ability to run and retrain perception machine learning models and evaluate model performance Experience working independently and multi-functionally between hardware and perception teams Basic knowledge of sensing physics and different sensing modalities Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or other relevant languages
