The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in trusts and estates, with a strong background in complex estate planning, asset protection planning, trust and estate settlement, and taxation. International estate planning experience is a plus. The candidate must have an LL.M. in Estate Planning or Taxation, a Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school, and be a member of The Florida Bar.Duties:Advise clients on complex estate planning strategies, including wills, trusts, and power of attorney.Develop and implement asset protection plans to safeguard clients' assets.Administer estates and trusts, including the preparation and filing of probate documents.Prepare and review estate tax returns and gift tax returns.Counsel clients on tax implications of estate planning and develop strategies to minimize tax liabilities.Manage trust and estate settlement processes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Guide on international estate planning matters, including cross-border tax and estate issues.Collaborate with other attorneys, accountants, and financial advisors to create comprehensive estate plans.Represent clients in estate and trust litigation when necessary.Keep abreast of changes in estate planning laws and regulations to provide the most current advice to clients.Requirements:3-6 years of experience in trusts and estates.Proven expertise in complex estate planning, asset protection, trust and estate settlement, and taxation.International estate planning experience is a plus.Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple clients and cases simultaneously.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain client relationships.Commitment to providing high-quality client service.Education:Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.LL.M. in Estate Planning or Taxation.Certifications:Member of The Florida Bar.Skills:Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state estate tax laws.Proficiency in legal research and writing.Expertise in drafting legal documents related to estate planning and administration.Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.Proficient in the use of legal research tools and estate planning software.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.High ethical standards and professional integrity.
