TRIGO Global Quality Solutions is seeking a Part-Time Quality Inspectors for our Peoria, IL location. Part -Time Schedule: 1st Shift 6:00AM-2:30PM 15-25 hrs a week Work setting: In-person Manufacturing facility Warehouse Work Location: Peoria, ILPay: $18per hourA Quality Inspector is a vital part of the first line of defense to keep the assembly process running smoothly. Overall Purpose Ensure Quality services and support for all missions assigned to their site Reports to Site Supervisor/Site Leads Responsibilities (To include but not limited to the following)Client Relationship & Business DevelopmentAct as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria. Operations- Examine manufactured products, primarily automotive parts, backhoes, skid steers to ensure the parts meet all standards of presentation and qualityStudy product specifications and work instructionsPerform visual, mechanical and functional verification of parts to ensure compliance to set specification and quality standardsMake independent judgments for subjective callsCollect and record accurate data regarding defectsTag and isolate defective materialProvide description or justification for defective materialComplies with relevant local Health and Safety legislationMust comply with local and company Health & Safety legislation, laws, and policies Organization & Management- Communicate sort/inspection results to managers, supervisors and production sourceTechnicalUtilize company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements Other- Any other duties as assigned Overall recommendations· 1+ year in Quality related position Education background- High School Diploma or Equivalent About TRIGO Global Quality Solutions Founded in 1997 10,000 professionals worldwide Located in 20+ countries Serves the automotive, aerospace and heavy transportation industries Offers quality control & supply chain services including inspection, logistics, auditing, consulting & training The leading quality solutions provider, trusted by the world's top 10 automotive & aerospace companies Only one thing is missing: you!
