Job details are mentioned below:Title: Dental Hygienist,Location: Cheverly, MD 20785,Duration: 13 weeks contract,Start date- Quick Start,Shift: Days(8am-4.30pm), 8hrs/day, 24hrs/wk,Weekend: As needed, Job Description:Administers dental sealants and fluoride treatments as requiredPerforms prophylactic/preventive treatments (i.e. cleaning, fluoride sealant application,polishing);Prepares patients and organizes equipment to facilitate dental treatmentsProvide oral hygiene instructionsDocuments history and findings using electronic health/dental recordAdministers local anesthesia under direct supervision of a dentistObtains patient medical histories and maintains dental files, charts and recordsSterilizes and maintains dental instruments, equipment, supplies, medications, and thedental roomTakes digital radiographsTakes impressions of the mouthAssists in maintaining dental operatory and equipment per manufacture and ADAstandardsProvides Oral Health Case ManagementAssists with meeting performance standards of grant funded programsObserves proper OSHA infection control proceduresApplies universal precaution standardsPerforms other related duties Skills:Less than 1 year of experince required!Dental Hygienist license issued by the Maryland State Board of Dental Examiners Active Certification:Covid Vaccinated/Declination,Maryland Dental Hygienist license,BLS.
