Along with verdant greens and lush landscapes, Quail Lodge is home to Edgar’s, a farm-to-table restaurant that highlights fresh local produce and adheres to the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch guidelines of sustainability.Quail Lodge & Golf Club is seeking a People & Culture Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of the department. In this role you will:* Work for a highly prestigious hotel located in sunny Carmel Valley, California.* Learn and grow within a strong hospitality operation.* Be provided exceptional medical benefits and employee discounts on lodge, golf, and dining services. Key Accountabilities* Responsible for the use of sound business judgment in dealing with all staff to ensure Quail Lodge & Golf Club policies and procedures are upheld.* Manage the following HR Functional Areas: Staffing, Training, Safety, Compliance, Employee Relations, HRIS, Benefits and CBA implementation* Handle employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviews in absence of Director* Perform benefit administration; including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment.* Monitor and Manage career pathing and performance evaluation programs* Responsible for establishing, maintaining, and preserving all automated and manual personnel records, including Performance Improvement Communication Plan and Personnel Action Forms, in accordance with record retention standards* Oversea employee relations including, birthday cards, employee of the month celebrations, holiday party, monthly outings, annual activities and parties Salary: $66,560.00 - $75,00.00 per year Benefits We Offer:* * 10 vacation days per year* 5 sick days per year* 1 personal day per year* 8 holidays days per year* Complimentary employee meals* Complimentary parking* Discounted and complimentary room nights at The Peninsula Hotels* 25% restaurant discount* 40% discount on retail* Complimentary use of golf course* 80% company-paid medical, dental and vision coverage* Complimentary life insurance* Complimentary long-term disability* Retirement plan with 5% company match
