Electrical Systems Engineer Location: Lafayette, CO Job ID: #69225 Pay Range: $40-51/hr Duration: 12 monthsThe Electrical Systems Engineer II will engage in a broad range of engineering activities as a member of a diverse team working to design the next generation of small satellites.Required Skill Sets: * BS degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or similar Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. * 2-5 years of hardware design or test engineering Advanced academic degrees may count toward experience. * Strong ability to communicate with other engineers, management, and external customers over both written and verbal communication channels is a must. * Excellent analytical skills and demonstratable knowledge of electrical engineering and system level design. * Familiarity with at least one schematic capture/layout tool and at least one spice- based simulation tool. * Experience using MATLAB, Python, or other scripting language for scientific * Experience designing for harsh or mission critical environments a plus - including but not limited to aerospace, automotive, aviation, medical, or naval. * Experience designing to industry standards (such as EMI/EMC) a * Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education.
