Large Language Models (LLMs) hold immense potential to change the way we work and develop products. They are reshaping the landscape of Machine Learning across various domains. SAP AI Product Engineering is responsible for designing central frameworks and cloud services such as Joule, Generative AI Hub, AI Core, and Document Information Extraction as the AI foundation for embedded AI throughout our portfolio in addition to our efforts towards SAP's foundation models, both our own tabular business models and building on top of partner LLMs, and generative AI technologies. The Role: :Unique opportunity to develop a Foundation Model on structured business data using Knowledge Graphs in a diverse business context.:Design and implement a representation suitable for Self:Supervised Learning on data across. Develop graph:based Machine Learning models, lead project workstreams and guide junior team members.: Leverage semantic business and process knowledge in form of a Knowledge Graph.: Stay up to date with the latest advancements in the field of Knowledge Graphs, Foundational Models, and Machine Learning, and apply the expertise to enhance the models and improve product quality.:Contribute to research collaborations with academic and commercial partners.:Contribute to thought leadership in an entirely new data modality for Foundation Models and Generative AI. What you bring: : PhD or M aster's degree in C omputer S cience, Artificial Intelligence, or other relevant disciplines.: Deep background in LLMs , Knowledge Graphs, Graph Neural Networks and their application in a business context.:Proficiency in Python, and experience with ML frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar.: Ideally, professional experience with Machine Learning on Tabular Data such as in the ERP or CRM domain.:5+ years of professional experience. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross:cultural teams.
