About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Valuations Specialist in in Asset Monitoring Borrowing Base Team as part of Commercial Banking Operations division. The Asset Monitoring Borrowing Base team is responsible for monitoring and analyzing our borrower's financial reporting used as collateral relying heavily on accounting processes and financial analysis. In this role, you will: Be responsible for the completion of valuation estimates and appraisal reviews of inventory, machinery, and equipment Own the third party appraisal process, review and analyze inventory, machinery, equipment, and intangible asset appraisals performed by third party firms Summarize third party analyses for review by credit, underwriting, and portfolio management Review and analyze basic business, operational, or technical assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives Exercise independent judgement to guide medium risk deliverables within Commercial Valuations functional area Present recommendations for resolving more complex situations Exercise independent judgement while developing expertise within Commercial Valuations functional area, policies, procedures and compliance requirements Collaborate and consult with Commercial Valuations colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders, including internal as well as external customers Required Qualifications: 2+ years of Commercial Valuations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications Advanced Microsoft Excel skills A BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economics Accounting or finance experience Underwriting experience Commercial underwriting experience Ability to review and interpret complex commercial loan documents Knowledge and understanding of asset based lending or commercial lending Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy 1+ year of Asset Based Lending Experience, including but not limited to understanding of accounts receivable and accounts payable common to asset based lending. 1+ year of financial reporting experience Posting End Date: 20 May 2024 *Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.
