Our busy restaurant is looking for servers with a friendly smile and a cheerful customer service attitude to set the tone for our guests to enjoy their dining experience with us. You will serve our guests in the restaurant by ensuring that they are seated promptly, their orders are taken, prepared, and served timely, and that tables are cleaned and ready for the next guests. Our ideal candidate maintains a friendly and courteous demeanor toward our guests and coworkers while providing exceptional customer service to our guests. Responsibilities: • Actively engage in pre-shift and department meetings to get a thorough knowledge of all goods, services, and facility operations• Restock and clean as instructed, including side work for opening and closing of the restaurant• Greet customers, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve orders promptly, and accommodate any special needs or requests• Develop a comprehensive understanding of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials so that you can respond to client questions and provide recommendations• Receive proper payment from the guest and ensure the accuracy of the guest check and method of payment to protect both the customer and the restaurant from transaction errors Qualifications: • Outstanding time management and organizational skills• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED)• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers• Previous experience working in food service is preferred• This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service Compensation: $2.13 hourly plus tips About Company: With a team of industry veterans, seasoned managers, and emerging leaders, KB Hotels management team brings an unmatched combination of experience, competence, and innovation to its daily operations and developing projects.
