A day in the life: Supervise and provide guidance to a diverse team of employees by assigning and monitoring work, establishing work schedules, evaluating performance, providing guidance and setting priorities that ensure the effective and efficient use of resources.Manage the Salem storeroom, sign shop and transport services by conducting research, preparing cost/benefit analysis and feasibility studies and making recommendations to improve systems and procedures.Establish policies and procedures for shipping, receiving, warehousing, inventory, security and payments and record keeping.Interpret agency policies, best practices, procedures and guidelines and ensure understanding and adherence of staff.Conduct monthly information and safety team meetings.Approve payments for services and supplies, negotiate purchase prices with vendors and service providers, and ensure they are in compliance with policies.Prepare, explain and administer budgets by projecting revenues, expenses and program needs.Work in both a standard office environment and in the field with all weather conditions.Irregular work hours and travel to agency facilities statewide is required. Minimum qualifications: Four years of lead work, supervision, or progressively related experience; OR One year of related experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field.
