This position is also responsible for tracking key project milestones and assisting Program Manager(s) in partnering with senior management of the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of the enterprise. This position manages multiple large, complex projects with greater impact to the enterprise. How Youll Spend Your Time - You will review project proposals or plans to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, and the necessary resources for each phase of the project. Establishing a work plan and staffing is critical to your success.- You will arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel and formulate and define the technical scope and objectives in conjunction with project staff to outline the work plan.- You will identify and manage project dependencies and critical path items for simple project plans having multiple inter:dependencies such as departments, vendors and processes.- You will negotiate with the project sponsor (senior management LOB) to ensure desired timelines and budget expectations are met.- You'll be the liaison to both internal technology staff and vendors to ensure they understand the business requirements. Essential Duties - Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, technical scope and objectives of project; procedures for accomplishing project; establishes a work plan and staffing for each phase of project; formulates and defines technical scope and objectives of project; confers with project staff to outline work plan.
