Greet customers at the front door with a "Welcome to All American Diner" and then seat each guest comfortably in a clean booth. Taking customers’ food and drink orders with our handheld POS devices. Collaborating with the kitchen and management staff for prompt and correct delivery of orders Memorizing the menu and recommend drinks, appetizers, meals, & deserts. Delivering a memorable dining experience by resolving all customer issues promptly Assisting with the tidying of tables, clearing leftovers and keeping the dining area neat and pleasant Setting tables and rearranging the dining area to accommodate larger groups and prepare the restaurant for special events Learn and comply with the All American Diner "10 Star Steps of Service" with each guest or potential customer. Perform all prepping and cleaning duties assigned by the management team so that the following shift is fully stocked for the start of their shift. Qualifications: Friendly customer service skills Ability to positively interact and display teamwork with entire diner staff. Previous restaurant is not required, only a positive attitude and commitment to learning company policies.
