We are growing fast and have many opportunities for advancement. We are currently hiring a Weekend Quality Assurance Technician . Responsibilities: Ensures and verifies that all plant departments and employees are adhering to the quality standards and guidelines of the company. Takes samples, tests, records, and reports basic physical, chemical, and biological properties of ingredients, formulations, packaging, and other associated material, leading to their acceptance, approval, or disposition. Actively monitors, teaches, and enforces plant sanitation policies, GMP’s, HACCP, and methods for allergen control. Prepares, maintains, monitors, and tracks plant documentation. Monitor the departmental efficiency, testing and approval times, yields, scrap loss, and other key indicators. Teaches, instructs, and leads plant employees in issues regarding sanitation. Accurately prepares and maintains all departmental forms and documents. Monitors the completion of paperwork by other departments, emphasizing optimum record keeping within all plant areas. Required Skills/Abilities: Follow GMP’s and safety protocols. Basic math, biology, and chemistry knowledge is required. Attention to detail. Team effort and communication Must be able to lift 40 pounds occasionally.
