Responsibilities Perform a variety of tasks involving the operation of radiographic equipment and other devices as necessary. Obtain complete history and position patients using immobilization when necessary and explain the procedure to patients. Calculate appropriate exposure factors and evaluate images for diagnostic quality Assist Radiologists and other health care practitioners with invasive procedures Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during the exam Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with regulations and ensure patient/employee safety Evaluate images for technical quality, and exposure, and transmit to PACS Qualifications Job Requirements Technical or Associate’s radiography degree Must be registered or registry eligible with the ARRT If registry eligible upon hire, you must become registered within one year of employment Active BLS certification Preferred Job Requirements 1-year of Radiology experience For more details: https://jobs-search.org/radiologic-technologist_tulsa-c443982/radiologic-technologist-tulsa_i2130837165
