Job Responsibilities: This is a list of the main duties or tasks that the post holder will be expected to undertake. Deliver assigned projects and work packages to agreed scope, timescales, quality and costs. Contribute to the implementation of decisions and policies, and the development of the service area, balancing priorities, customer needs, best practice and resource availability. Where appropriate, advise on business process changes which may be required, ensure the methodical investigation, analysis, review and documentation of all or part of a business in terms of business functions and processes, and manage the effective implementation of IT improvements and business process changes needed. Identify, define and setup effective measures to track potential business benefits and outcomes. Manage, co-ordinate and understand how and when relevant IT professional disciplines need to be brought in, as part of the successful delivery of projects and work packages. This includes a broad understanding and appreciation of the systems, technologies and processes involved. Negotiate with team members and managers in IT Services for the appropriate release of project resources required, providing clear leadership for staff assigned to projects and service changes and provide feedback to managers on their skill and performance. Forecast, plan, manage, monitor and review the use of resources, budgets and agreed lines of spend to achieve project objectives and ensure that resources are deployed efficiently, effectively and in compliance with financial procedures and approval requirements. Comply with relevant corporate and service level programme and project governance procedures, including the identification and management of risk, corporate technical standards and security / information management.
