Responsibilities include: Testing electrical systems, documenting actions, repairing electrical issues by replacing or installing components, wiring, or devices, and maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements. Work with an established team of electricians, to complete a variety of customer-driven projects with highly competitive pay. Benefits: • Medical• Dental• Vision• 401(k)• Life Insurance Responsibilities:• The apprentice electrician performs electrical work involved in construction, maintenance, and/or repair of commercial, industrial electrical construction projects• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit, using measuring instruments and hand tools• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order• Punctuality be on time, all the time, at the designated work site• Teamwork and a positive attitude Qualifications:• A willingness to follow instructions, learn, and do the job right the first time• The ability to plan ahead - prepare tools/materials for the journeyman ahead of time; this improves job efficiency and makes a great impression• Able to diagnose problems using electronic test equipment• Eagerness to learn electrical schematics and blueprint reading skills Compensation: $20 - $28 hourly About Company: SMSI is dedicated to providing the highest quality mechanical services performed in an honest, dependable, and efficient manner.
