With the resources of our powerful North American organization, we provide products and services to move the world, and foster a supportive culture that encourages participation and career development.We are currently looking for an (engineering) Technical Support person for our Controls Division. Recent Graduates will work in Tulsa, OK. Experienced candidates may work remotely from Tulsa, Denver CO, Dallas TX, or Salt Lake City, UT Essential Job Functions: Design and Project management of Control systems for mobile hydraulic, mobile electric, industrial hydraulic and industrial electric systems. Define, document, and communicate control functions including any software development for microcontrollers and PLC's. Work with Sales and Customers to define project scope and select suitable solutions to control problems. Travel within US and Canada to customer site for initial machine start-up, commissioning, and training on control system. Approximately 25% travel to customers working indoors and outdoors. Software Development primarily in Danfoss Plus1 Guide environment. Recommend and implement changes to resolve field problems and help to evaluate prototypes for design modification to improve system performance and reliability. Requirements Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, Mechatronics, Engineering Technology or similar discipline. Knowledge and interest in heavy mobile hydraulic equipment such as used in Agricultural, Mining, Construction, Oilfield equipment or other self-propelled off-highway equipment. Related Skills Experience in machine design and project management. Experience in communication protocols (ex. CAN, Ethernet, RS-232) Experience with DC electrical control systems. Experience with Hydraulic systems. Experience with pneumatic systems. Experience with AC electric drive systems. CoDeSyS, PLC and C programming are strong assets. Knowledge of or interest in micro-controllers and PLC's, Some graphic user interface experience is also as asset.
