Job Description: Analyze and track investment performance across multiple portfolios and brokerage accounts, including Stocks, Bonds, and Private investments Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for numerous simple entities Review and interact with accountants and outside advisors regarding investments, expenditures, and distributions for various family foundations Manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a time-sensitive environment Apply an in-depth knowledge of finance/investment concepts Complete other tasks and projects as assigned, at times working with quick deadlines Qualifications of the ideal candidate: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management preferred Professional and polite in personal demeanor and presentation Two or more years of experience required Excellent financial analysis acumen and understanding Intuitive about noticing patterns, connections, and anomalies/outliers in financial information Conceptual understanding of financial rates of return Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Intuitive about format and layout to put analyses within easy grasp of recipients Ability to produce quality, accurate work that "speaks to" the recipient Ability to state a position clearly and concisely Ability to defend a position with logical and compelling reasoning, in an upbeat manner Attention to detail Multi-tasking ability in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment Self-motivated individual who is eager to learn and able to contribute to a strong team Proactive team player; must be accountable, responsible, and organized Dependable: "do what you say you will do" Expert spreadsheet skills are mandatory and must be demonstrated by existing work created by the candidate Able to maintain strict confidentiality of financial information, investments, and other tasks Must be discreet, able to handle and protect highly confidential financial and personal information, internally and externally Must be prudent about what to say and, more importantly, what not to say, and to whom Initiative and ability to research and learn new topics, business and otherwise Willingness to be hands-on in all aspects of transaction and analyses-related work, including real estate, investments, etc. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
