A DAY IN THE LIFE OF OUR SENIOR LEVEL HOSPICE LEADER/ REGISTERED NURSE (RN) As our Senior Level Hospice Leader, you arrive each day ready to take our hospice services above and beyond. You manage our office and clinical operations in order to meet the needs of our patients and help them live each day to the fullest. Ensuring our patient's needs are met, you coordinate the daily workload and 24-hour services. Working with the HR department, you assist with recruiting, hiring, and training new employees. You act as a resource for our field staff, investigate and resolve all reported incidents, conduct performance evaluations, and develop performance improvement plans as well as educate employees on infection control and how to recognize and report abuse. Primary functions are to assume overall responsibility and authority for administrative and leadership functions for assigned office(s). Maintain of daily operation, organize and directs the agency's ongoing functions. Monitors KPI reports, OAPI program review HIPPAA complaints and help resolve those complaints. Assist directors with budgets, revenues and expenses. Works to improve patient outcomes, patient satisfaction, referral satisfaction and employee satisfaction to improve patient outcomes and patient satisfaction. Practices infection control and universal precautions to ensure the safety of the patient. Recognizes and reports any form of abuse taking appropriate action according to policy and federal/state laws. Maintains regular attendance and punctuality in travels between offices assigned. Serves as the agency's disaster coordinator during an emergency as required. Monitor task screens for offices assigned. Assist with task screens as needed. Assist offices with on-call and scheduling as needed. QUALIFICATIONS Oklahoma RN license 4+ years of nursing experience 2year of hospice leadership roles. Ability to obtain CPR certification within 60 days of hire. Knowledge about the Medicare guidelines governing Hospice agencies. Valid Oklahoma driver's license and vehicle insurance Basic computer skills Do you enjoy coaching and mentoring others? Can you deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public? Do you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills?
