Description:
Performs numerous tasks and under supervision to assist machine operators and core department in general. Operates core oven to bake cores. May load trays and racks, place in oven, and remove from oven. Work from specifications and instructions. Operates pallet moving equipment including lift or transport to and from all departments including pattern storage, a variety of work including, but not limited to, castings, patterns, cores, parts, and machining. Use fork lift to place racks in oven, remove after baking, and delivers to core preparation. Retrieves empty racks, keep core pallet in order, and delivers core wire. Perform casting wash procedures. Observes and complies with all safety rules and regulations. Maintain simple records and perform related duties as assigned. Keep work area clean and orderly. Perform other work as instructed by supervisor. general labor, assist machine operators
