What you'll do: An individual in this position will work with a team who is responsible for recruitment efforts for positions within Department of Corrections. Work with the Recruitment Officer in the Talent Acquisition section to develop prospective candidates and schedule interviews statewide through multiple systems including but not limited to Indeed, Applicant Pro, Face Book, and Mobile Talent. Must be comfortable with calling, texting, and emailing prospects that have shown interest in departmental jobs to scheduling job interviews and to assist as needed with the application process. No cold calling. Maintain effective relationships with Institutional leaders and other staff as well as develop social and professional networks to source qualified candidates. Inform applicants about the job and department, coordinate a variety of recruiting initiatives and attend career fairs for department recognition as needed. Must be able to travel to some recruitment meetings, college visits, and career fairs and maintain a flexible work schedule. Candidates will also exercise initiative and independence within established guidelines; receive general administrative direction and work independently. Work schedule will include evening and weekend hours. All you need for success: Minimum Qualifications: Applicants with recruiting experience are preferred.Successful candidate must be able to work from one of three Department of Corrections Training Locations located in Cameron, MO, Jefferson City, MO or Farmington, MO.
