Access Care Oklahoma of T ulsa, OK is looking to hire a full-time Provider Services Director (PSD) to offer strategic direction for the organization. This can be a "work from home" position depending on experience, computer connectivity, etc. The PSD assists healthcare providers across Oklahoma make the transition to value-based care. This includes reviewing workflow design to ensure quality measures are being accurately recorded and monitored, analyzing population health data to identify care gaps and assisting practices in meeting the requirements of the Clinically Integrated Network (CIN). ABOUT ACCESS CARE Access Care Clinically Integrated Network represents the interests of the state's independent providers in the world of value-based care. Through shared goals, contracts, protocols and data, we are committed to providing the right care in the right place at the right time to patients who see our network providers. Network providers share information to improve outcomes, manage costs, and enhance patient satisfaction. We bring the strength of Network participation, while allowing healthcare providers to retain their independence. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF PROVIDER SERVICE DIRECTOR A typical week will likely include a combination of meetings, planning and travel / interaction with medical practices. Most weeks will include 2-3 meetings with payers to discuss plans for different value-based care programs. For example, there may be a specific quality improvement program they want us to roll out to our Network providers... like providing Annual Wellness Visits for their patients. This person will help work on strategies for implementing these initiatives. There are also usually 2-3 meetings with the internal Access Care team to coordinate efforts, follow-up on documentation, and help ensure we're meeting regulatory requirements as a Network. They also watch webinars once or twice a month, read regulatory updates and stay up to date on issues that could impact the CIN and our practices. Some days will also involve meeting with providers at their practices or through virtual visits. This includes traveling around the state to meet with providers about various initiatives. Other weeks may include reviewing new contracts to identify expectations and practice requirements. It may also include time learning / using new software, whether that is a payer's data clearinghouse to develop reports, or a practice's EHR for chart audits. In general, this position is the key connection with payers, the staff, and providers to provide consistency and ensure we're helping providers learn to improve quality and manage healthcare costs for success in value-based care. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PROVIDER SERVICE DIRECTOR Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required. Minimum 5 years healthcare experience, in a position requiring familiarity with clinical and office procedures and regulatory requirements. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office software If licensed professional, maintains regulatory compliance with federal and state laws and ongoing maintenance of professional competency .
