The position is working with an internationally respected manufacturer who have multiple sites across the UK. We have an exciting opportunity available for a Quality & Process Engineer based close to the Lutterworth area. The position is working with an internationally respected manufacturer who have multiple sites across the UK. The Quality & Process Engineer will be responsible for the quality and culture of continuous operational improvement throughout the site by working closely with the site management team, utilising various tools and techniques to make improvements across all areas of the facility. This role is a key interface between all of the site’s operational teams to ensure a consistent approach and achievement of Quality, Process and CI targets. The main purpose of this role is to drive quality and maximise plant efficiency by creating processes and procedures that all site personnel adhere to in delivering high quality products to the end user. What’s in it for you as Quality & Process Engineer Basic salary of up to £50,000 plus an 8 pension, 25 days holiday, OT also available, comprehensive employee benefit package, accredited training and personal development opportunities are also available within this position. DAYS ONLY working Monday to Friday 40 hrs – allowing for a fantastic work life balance. Main Responsibilities of Quality & Process Engineer Responsible for Quality and Process at plant level Ensure Group and National requirements incorporated in local standards and procedures Responsible to manage plant quality testing Leading and developing all manufacturing improvement activities across the site including the integration of engineering changes to the manufacturing processes Ensure appropriate resources and time are available for the application of a systematic approach to ‘Improvement workshops and Kaizen.
